Suspects Identified in July Shooting

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Sgt. Rob Dafoe says investigators have identified several Denver area residents as suspects in the shooting of a 17 year old male in the early morning hours of July 23 near Frontier Park. The suspect survived the shooting and is no longer hospitalized. Dafoe says detectives have been working hard on the case and are getting close to having enough evidence to ask for arrest warrants. Dafoe declined to further identify the suspects at this point. Police have previously said they believed the shooting to be gang-related.
