There's a new spin on the classic board game Monopoly featuring western-themed pieces and board spaces inspired by the Cowboy State's most iconic landmarks.
Earlier this week, my colleague and namesake Rodeo Rick published a blog posing the question, "If Wyoming Had a Monopoly Game, What Player Piece Would You Create?"
Which got me wondering, what Wyoming landmark would represent Boardwalk if we had our own version of Monopoly...
Kudos to Parker Brothers, publisher of the game that has started more family feuds than any other game in the world - Monopoly. But I think it's about time Wyoming got it's own Officially Licensed version of the game!
When you play Monopoly, what token do you pick first?
My favorite is the Top Hat. The new edition of the popular board game has a new token to choose from, the Cat. It received the most votes in Hasbro's 'Save Your Token' campaign and joins the race car, Scottie dog, wheelbarrow, shoe, top hat, thimble and battleship in the current line up.
McDonald's launched its annual Monopoly game this week. If you're somehow not familiar, they put stickers on different menu items. Those stickers feature different Monopoly properties. If you collect the right ones, you win a prize.
