The Best Irish Pubs for Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Wyoming
St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. To properly prepare our livers, here's a few of the best places to toast the Luck of the Irish here in Wyoming.
Galloway’s Pub in Casper – Van Galloway got his first job at the age of 14 as a dishwasher at the old El Mark-O Lanes bowling alley. Years later, he bought the bowling alley and opened up an Irish themed bar in the lounge.
In 2011, they expanded the operation and officially opened Galloway’s Irish Pub and Eatery on CY Avenue, which also features a dance floor and a live music stage.
Keg and Cork in Casper – Following the success of Galloway’s, the family opened another location on the east side of Casper in 2013. In addition to their extensive beer selection, the Keg and Cork is known for their cabbage rolls, Irish eggs and bangers and mash.
Mulligan’s Pub in Laramie – This package liquor store also features a small bar and traditional Irish tavern decor. Although it’s tiny, their late night happy hours are popular among college students.
O’Dwyers Public House in Laramie – Known for their Irish pasties, this Grand Avenue sports bar proudly serves Boddington’s and Guiness on tap, along with house specialties like Irish nachos and Irish calzones. They also host weekly bingo games and a popular bar trivia night. You can even order food to go from the Black Kilt Deli.
Pat O’Hara Brewing in Cody – Opened in 2014, this popular brewpub features six in-house beers and a wide selection of craft beers from across the region. The menu includes Irish staples like corned beef, fish and chips and shepherd’s pie.
Honorable Mention : Alf’s Pub in Cheyenne – Even though he’s not Irish, Alf goes all out for St. Patty’s. The neighborhood watering hole cooks up corn beef and cabbage every year and offers prizes for patrons who are willing to kiss the “blarney stone”.
