For years, the Budweiser Clydesdales have been a part of the best work advertising companies put out. They are featured in the highest profile and most expensive slots, such as Super Bowl 51, where it’s $5.5 million to air a 30-second commercial. Producing the spots is a lot more. These proud, powerful, intelligent and magnificent animals are a representation of what’s best in America and they do it with style, wit and a clever wink.

Did you know these Clydesdales get their training here in Wyoming?

“Many people think that the Budweiser commercials are created with the help of a lot of computer imaging, but they’re not. The Clydesdales and the other animals are trained by a very talented man named Robin Wiltshire.” – horsenation

Robin and his wife Kate live at Turtle Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming with a number of different animals for appearances, commercials and movies. Robin used to ride bucking horses in the rodeo circuit. He then started training horses to perform during breaks in the rodeo. That’s where Anheuser-Busch approached him about using one of his horses that was trained to rear up for an ad campaign. The rest is history.
