
They Walk to End Domestic Violence
There is an old saying, “you cant really understand another persons experience unless you’ve walked in their shoes.” That’s why members of the community donned high heels and walked around the Depot Plaza Thursday afternoon, to bring attention to the problem of domestic violence. This was the 3rd Annual “Would You Walk in Her Shoes” event sponsored by Safehouse of Laramie County. Governor Matt Mead has declared October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Wyoming.
