Are you a fan of Saturday morning cartoons?

I know, now days you can watch cartoons any day of the week, if you have the right channels or check YouTube.

But what's the fun of that. We would wake up early on Saturday and make a bowl of cereal to take to the living room and sit in front of the TV for hours smiling and laughing.

This Saturday, April 28, the Old West Museum is presenting a free cartoon event in conjunction with their exhibit by Denver Post cartoonist Paul Gregg.Children 12 and under can meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28, for all-you-can-eat cereal in the Paramount Cafe downtown, 1607 Capitol, while watching classic cartoons. (The former Paramount Theater)

At 10:15, the group will take a Trolley ride to the Old West Museum in Frontier Park to tour the Denver Post's Paul Gregg: Caught in Cartoons Exhibit and then will illustrate their own cartoons.

At 11:15, students will ride the Trolley back to the Paramount Cafe where their artwork will be hung in the Cafe Gallery for patrons to enjoy.
