I mean, your guess is as good as mine at this point.

If you Google Barnes & Noble, the Cheyenne store will pop up as a location at the Frontier Mall, but it says "Temporarily Closed", which is what we've seen from this for the past months since they were moved out of their Dell Range location, which Natural Grocers now occupy. That's not really news.

A couple of days ago, however, the Cheyenne Barnes & Nobel social media accounts made an interesting post.

How does that read to you? It kind of reads to me like they're punting on the mall location. I'm not spreading rumors, it's a legit question. They have the corporate email that you can reach out to, which I did, but have yet to get a response from them. I'm sure they've had a few emails so sift through them.

It would make sense that they're punting on the idea if they're putting all their attention on trying to find a new home while they're in a temporary home. I'm wondering if they decided the numbers don't make sense to open and pay salaries and so forth in a temporary setting. I mean, we're weeks away from peak holiday shopping, so you'd think they'd open something up.

If you forgot, the original time for them to open was going to be late September. But, back in July, they posted this on their social accounts.

We still have a month and some change left in actual fall, so I suppose we'll have to wait and see. I'll make an update when/if they return my email.
