Do you have an Elf on the Shelf at your house?

The Christmas toy has become increasingly popular since it was first introduced in 2005, and on social media, like Facebook, the Elf seems to be getting into all kinds of trouble.Mother and daughter, Carol Aebersold and Chanda Bell, wrote the story and began their own publishing company to get it out after being turned down by other publishers.

Since 2005, 'Elf on the Shelf' has won multiple book awards and sales have surpassed $16.6 million. An Elf on the Shelf balloon has even floated over the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade since 2012.

The 'Elf on the Shelf' toy, according to the story, watches over children to check if they're being naughty or nice and reports back to Santa Claus.

The pictures I've been noticing, it looks like the Elf is being naughtier than the children.

Leave us a photo of what your Elf on the Shelf has been doing lately.
