Where Did You Go Over Summer Vacation?

Summer vacation's almost over, where have your adventures taken you this year?

One of the first assignments when school begins is to write about what you did during your summer vacation. We're giving you a head start, tell us where you've gone and what fun things you've been doing.

Our family enjoyed a week's vacation recently, staying mostly in Colorado checking out colleges and universities. We stayed at the Omni Resort in Broomfield with 2 outdoor pools, visited Boulder and CU, found the Statue Garden in Loveland, took a drive to Horsetooth Reservoir and saw friendly ducks and spent a night at the Cambria Suites in Ft. Collins where we ate at the Original Pancake House restaurant right in their parking lot.

After all the traveling, it makes you realize that sometimes the best vacation can be right under a tree in your own backyard. Check out my photos and share your photos and stories.
