Where To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Cheyenne
If you live in the Cheyenne city limits, recycling your Christmas tree is easy. The Boy Scouts will be collecting trees on Saturday, January 5th.
Residents are asked to remove tinsels and ornaments from trees and wreaths and to place them on their curb by 6:30 a.m. They also recommend securing smaller trees to a fence or mailbox in case of high winds.
Trees can also be recycled at the Cheyenne Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road any Thursday or Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday from 12 pm to 4 p.m. Grant Farms on 2120 East Lincolnway also accepts trees, which can be dropped off anytime in the yard. The River Bend Nursery on 8908 Yellowstone Road also has a collection area just outside the main gate. After the trees are collected, they are chipped and turned into mulch.
