Who would you pick as rock and roll's all time best super group?

With the announcement this week of the 11-member super group called the Rock and Roll All Stars, it made me think of some of the great collaborations from the past.

The Rock and Roll All Stars begin a tour of Central and Latin America on April 19 in Paraguay. The super group features:

-Gene Simmons of KISS

-Joe Elliot from Def Leppard

-Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple

-Guns N' Roses Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan and Gilby Clarke

-Steve Stevens, guitarist for Billy Idol

-Sebastian Bach of Skid Row

-Collective Soul's Ed Roland

-Mike Inez from Alice In Chains

-Billy Duffy of The Cult

My pick for the best super group of all time would have to be The Traveling Wilburys.

It included five of my favorite performers and songwriters all working together.

-George Harrison

-Tom Petty

-Jeff Lynne

-Roy Orbison

-Bob Dylan
