Guns N' Roses arrived in Sydney a few days ago to start the Australian leg of their Not in This Lifetime Tour — and frontman Axl Rose's part-time AC/DC bandmate Angus Young was waiting at the airport to greet them.

Duff McKagan, Young put together a fairly detailed welcoming wagon for GNR, having the band detained on their plane for a "security check" that turned out to be the AC/DC co-founder decked out in an orange vest.

As management member Fernando Lebeis later shared via Instagram, Young and his wife Ella came bearing flowers for the big reunion. "I have missed these two," wrote Lebeis. "AC/DC family."

As previously reported, Guns N' Roses will be in Australia through late February — just the first handful of dates in what's shaping up to be another busy year of touring for the partially reunited classic lineup. As is par for the course with both acts, nothing's been publicly confirmed, but Young is heavily rumored to be joining GNR onstage while they're down under — with Blabbermouth reporting that Guns N' Roses practiced AC/DC songs during their soundcheck before this week's show in Brisbane.  Presumably, Rose might also have a chat or two with Young about where AC/DC can go from here.
