World Series 2011 Begins, Are You Rooting for Rangers or Cardinals?

Are you a fan of the Texas Rangers or the St Louis Cardinals?

The World Series began Wednesday, October 19, at Busch Stadium featuring two teams from the nation's heartland. One advantage of that is the game times won't end up way late at night or too early in the afternoon like other years when teams from the east or west coasts were involved.

Both teams wrapped up their Championship Series' in six games so they've had a little time to rest before starting the best of seven series for the title.St Louis has won ten World Series, the most of any National League team, and Texas lost to the San Francisco Giants last year in their first appearance in the Fall classic.

There are several reasons why I'm rooting for the Cardinals. When I played Little League baseball my team was the Cardinals, I remember my Grandpa being proud of that because his family was from Missouri. Also, my favorite NFL team, the Rams, are now a St Louis team too.
