Big 12 Wrestler of the Week
One of the Cowboys that went 4-0 last Friday was redshirt freshman Montorie Bridges. Wednesday he was named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week.
Bridges is ranked as high as No. 5 at 133 pounds. Two of his victories last Friday were major decisions and provided valuable bonus points to the Cowboys. He defeated two opponents ranked in the top 20, which included No. 4 Josh Terao of American by a final score of 10-2.
