If you’re not ready to give up your grip on Summer and plan to go out and drop a line to get your fishing in before the change of season, you probably won’t be alone. The warm days and cool nights recently, will set you up for getting out early and late, avoiding the heat and light of the middle of the day.

Fishing is good right now, with the best happening at Snowy Range and Wheatland reservoir #3. Match the hatch with some dry flies.

You should also do well on the North Platte and Saratoga Valley. Gray Reef, Miracle Mile but watch for weeds. Try a Panther Martin or salmon eggs or worms at North Crow, Granite or Crystal.

Good luck, but the true reward is the great outdoors of Wyoming. ENJOY IT!
