Wyoming Kid Makes National TV For Cooking
At 11 years old, Jackson, Wyoming’s Buck Milligan is ready to compete on the Chopped Junior show of The Food Network. Buck learned from his father and has been featured at the Aspen Market Park Fundraiser in Jackson and “brought the house down last year with his homemade pasta.”
On Nov. 15, Buck will go on national TV competing on the show's "Thanks Kidding" episode where “Four confident young cooks set out to make judges a spectacular Thanksgiving meal. Pumpkin pie comes first as one of the mystery ingredients for the appetizer round. There's no turkey in the entree basket, but there are a lot of other traditional flavors. Then, some adorable cupcakes are at the center of a goody-filled final basket.”
KRTV says “Buck's knife skills are on par with his cooking skills, as his father, Corey Milligan, is the founder of New West KnifeWorks in Jackson, Wyoming. Buck traveled to NYC in May to film the episode, but wasn't able to reveal his involvement until this week."
We’ll see the episode on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Good luck Buck!
