The guys in Teenage Bottlerocket are some real sick puppies. The Laramie-based punk rockers just released a video for their latest single "I Wanna Be a Dog." The clip features the band performing while a group of dogs in bandanas, spiked collars, and ripped up jean jackets plays.

"We had to ignore the dogs for the first ten minutes while they got used to the cameras," TBR bassist Miguel Chen explained to Riot Fest. "By the end of the shoot Kody (Templeman) was walking 17 dogs at once."

Templeman is the guitarist and co-founder of the band, which formed in Laramie in 2000. The song is the first single from their eighth full-length studio album Stay Rad!, which was released in March on Fat Wreck Chords.

The kings of Cowboy State punk rock will be close to home this weekend when they perform at the annual Red Rocks Amphitheatre Beer Fest on Sunday with NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and Bouncing Souls before embarking on a national headlining tour next month. In November, TBR will return to Japan, headling shows in Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Nagoya.
