Squirrel Creek Fire Now at 9K Acres, 12% Containment
The Squirrel Creek Fire south of Centennial has grown to 9,085 acres as of 8 pm July 3, according to the incident command. Containment stands at 12%, with crews successfully completing fireline around some of the fire perimeter.

I-80 Closed West to Sinclair
The Wyoming Department of Transportation lowered the gates on Interstate 80 west out of Cheyenne shortly after midnight Thursday morning, as a midwinter storm and high winds continued to bear down on the Northern Rockies.
