Cheyenne Day of Giving: What Can I Donate?
Want to help? Unsure where to start? How about focusing on a few basics that the King and Country Crew will be mentioning on-air (to help you remember, of course!):
Top Five Food Focus:
- Protein (peanut butter, tuna, beans, beef jerky, etc.)
- Hamburger Helper (or tuna helper, or pasta helper--you get the idea)
- Canned Fruit
- Rice and beans
- Canned Soup
Top Five Personal Purchases:
- Shampoo and bar soap
- Deodorant
- Disposable Razor
- Feminine hygiene products
- Laundry detergent
Your pantry is a fantastic place to find many of the above non-perishable food items. If you have any personal care items in brand-new condition at your house, we'll take them as well!
Also be on the look-out for: old prescription medications, eyewear, medical supplies and equipment, craft items, and old cell phones/chargers.
Unfortunately, at this time the Day of Giving CANNOT accept any clothing aside from new underwear and socks.
