Cheyenne Home and Garden Show Remodeling Tip: Brick Wallpaper Can Add Character Any Room

As we prepare for the upcoming Cheyenne Home and Garden Show, here's a tip for those of you with older homes.  Vinyl brick wallpaper is a cheap, easy way to add character to any room.

I know what you're thinking, brick wallpaper?  Really?  I thought the same thing.  But I wanted to find a way tie in our on-going basement remodel with the red brick foundation of our house, which was built in the 40's. I considered the option of adding brick veneer to the wall, then I stumbled across several websites offering textured, rustic, brick wallpaper.

I was amazed at how authentic it looked and the variety of choices that are available. After ordering a sample of weathered brick wallpaper, we decided to go with a more modern red brick style to match the outside of our house.

We intend to cover two large walls in the basement with the brick wallpaper.  Not only will we save ourselves hours of work, we will also save nearly a thousand dollars.
