Have you had the chance to catch the Change Agents perform?

Local singer songwriter Ty Warner is entertaining audiences and spreading the word about ending domestic violence and he's our featured musician for tonight's Cheyenne Home Grown.

Ty plays with various musicians at venues around Cheyenne as The Change Agents. He recently performed at The Midtown Tavern, Little Bear Inn and at Sanford's Grub & Pub. Other talent who play along with The Change Agents include Tom 'Tex' Ritter David Jones and Brenda Kay.

Ty and The Twisters were performing at Old Chicago in Cheyenne when their singer Robin Muniz was shot and killed by her husband and that incident prompted the new band name and instilled their mission of ending domestic violence.

The Change Agents will be part of the Celebrity Waiter fundraiser for Safehouse at Little America coming up on Friday, February 20, and continue their global fight against domestic violence bringing awareness about Crystal Town who was killed in Cheyenne October 2, 2013 by her husband in front of their 10-year-old child.

Ty is a member of the Nashville Songwriting Association International and is starting a Cheyenne chapter. He's also involved in a project called 'Operation Song' where veterans can tell their stories and have them turned into songs by professional songwriters.

I'll be visiting with Ty Warner in the 6 p.m. hour and you can hear him perform a cover of Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' on tonight's Cheyenne Home Grown.
