Want to catch some live music in the area this week?

There are still lots of concerts coming to the Rocky Mountains as we near the middle of September.

In Cheyenne on Tuesday, September 11, The Melvins play at the Forum 619 on South Greeley Highway at 8 p.m. This will be part of their attempt to play all 50 states in 50 days plus a show in the District of Columbia. The B-52s are touring this Summer and bring their show to the Boulder Theater on Wednesday, September 12 starting at 8 p.m. Remember their songs 'Love Shack' and 'Rock Lobster'?

Thursday, September 13, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood take the stage at Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, Colorado and the Black Crowes' lead singer brings his new band to the Fox Theatre in Boulder on Saturday, September 15.

Also on Thursday, at the Bluebird Theater in Denver you can see Little Feat with The Villians. In 2012, Little Feat released their first album in 9 years called 'Rooster Rag.' It features 4 songs written by keyboardist Bill Payne along with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter.

And don't forget on Friday night, September 14, Nora Lynch and Phil Palisoul out of Comedy Works in Denver will entertain at our Friday Night Live Comedy Show at the historic Atlas Theatre.
