Comedian Rocky LaPorte Coming to Cheyenne

Fans of stand up comedy are in for a treat this month. Rocky LaPorte, a former finalist on the television series Last Comic Standing, is coming to Cheyenne for a performance at the historic Plains Hotel on Thursday, July 16th.

In addition to his appearances on the popular NBC comedy competition, LaPorte has also starred in his own Comedy Central stand up special and was part of the Showtime documentary Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie, which followed a group of comedians on a tour of Iraq.

Nancy Norton, a veteran of the Denver comedy scene, will open for LaPorte. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Plains Hotel sales desk or at the door on the night of the show.
