As the scandal surrounding Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein has unfolded, it's become clear that his alleged behavior has been a longtime open secret in the industry. But never one to mince words, Hole frontwoman Courtney Love tried to publicly warn women against him a dozen years ago. You can see her do so in the video above.

Weinstein has now been accused of raping three women, and of sexually harassing more than 30 others over the course of three decades, the Guardian reports. He previously reached settlements with at least eight women, according to the New York Times.

But before any of these events were brought to light, Love walked the red carpet at the Comedy Central Roast of Pamela Anderson in 2005. Comedian Natasha Leggero asks if she has any advice for a young girl moving to Hollywood, she pauses and nervously replies “Umm, I’ll get libeled if I say it ... If Harvey Weinstein invites you to a private party in the Four Seasons, don’t go.”
