Have you taken this year's Parade of Homes yet?

It's always fun each year to see what's new in home construction and get some ideas for your place. Or if you're thinking of buying or building a house, the annual showcase is perfect to find out what is available.

This year's Parade of Homes, presented by the Southeast Wyoming Builder's Association, features 8 locations in three housing developments.

A supplement about the Parade of Homes comes out in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle on Friday, August 12 and Friday, August 19 or check the Cheyenne Parade of Homes website.

The home in Rocking Star Ranch at 1558 Fire Rock Drive features a built-in entertainment center, wet bar and a vault room in the basement.

Three homes in The Point neighborhood are included on this year's Parade of Homes;

-934 Spirit Lane (it has a sunroom with french doors)

-936 Samuel Lane (check out all the stainless steel appliances)

-1024 Wendy Lane (the kitchen features Maple Spice cabinetry)

In the Saddle Ridge subdivision, four new homes are open to view on the Parade of Homes;

-6959 Wilderness Trail (don't miss the covered back patio)

-3628 Scout Drive (this home features custom tile inside and custom stonework outside)

-6900 Laramie Street (if you like hardwood floors and granite counters, you'll love this one)

-3663 Saddle Ridge Trail (it has the new Rinnai tankless hot water system)

The annual Parade of Homes runs the weekends of August 13th and 14th and the 20th and 21st. Hours on Saturdays are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.
