If you want to avoid the $325 tax penalty or 2%, whichever is higher, then avoid the big rush to sign-up for the Healthcare Marketplace. The deadline is right around the corner.  Your chances of signing up for the Healthcare Marketplace is fast approaching. This Sunday, February 15, 2015 is the last chance that you'll have to get on board with one of the plans offered.

There are two health plan carriers that you can sign up with in the state of Wyoming. They are: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and WINHealth Healthcare Plans, headquartered in Cheyenne.

In order to sign up on the Marketplace, you'll need the following:

  • Proof of birth date, social security numbers or document numbers
  • Pay stubs, W-2 forms or wage and tax statements
  • Policy number for any current health insurance
  • Information about any health insurance you or your family could get through an employer
  • Personal email address

There is still time to enroll. If you have questions that you need answered, you can do so at www.healthcare.gov or call 2-1-1 for immediate questions.
