Are you excited about any of the shows touring through our area this week?

There are a lot of good ones to choose from including the Fleetwood Mac reunion tour stopping at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday, June 1. This band has special meaning for me because they were the first rock band I'd ever seen when I went to their show at the Fieldhouse in Laramie in 1977.The Postal Service plays a sold out show with RaRa Riot at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Thursday, May 30. The band features Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Jimmy Tamborello from Headset and Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley. They haven't toured since 2003.

In Cheyenne on Friday, May 31, comedian Daniel Tosh performs two shows at the Cheyenne Civic Center at 7 and 9:30 p.m. You might know him from Comedy Central's 'Tosh.O.'

Another Perfect Circus plays at The Crown Bar on the corner of Carey Avenue and West Lincolnway on Friday, May 31, in downtown Cheyenne. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and there's no cover charge.

At the Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, The Bogarts from California play a free show beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

Calling The Restless are at Scooters Scoreboard at 507 East Lincolnway on Saturday, June 1, and they'll wrap up the Fridays on the Plaza on September 6.

And you can see the Tallest Man on Earth at the Ogden Theatre with Strand of Oaks this Saturday, June 1, beginning at 9 p.m.
