What shows are you planning to see this week? We're heading into the middle of November and there are still lots of great live music acts touring through our area.

The Black Crowes play two sold-out shows at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Friday and Saturday nights, November 15 and 16, and tickets are still available for their Wednesday, November 13, concert.Legendary bluesman Buddy Guy performs at the Boulder Theater on Tuesday, November 12, at 8 p.m., doors open at 7.

Nine Inch Nails are at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on Wednesday, November 13, along with Explosions in the Sky on their tension 2013 tour. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

Thomas Dolby presents The Invisible Lighthouse at the Bluebird Theater in Denver on Thursday, November 14, at 8 p.m.

Also on Thursday, November 14, Clutch will be at the Ogden Theatre in Denver with American Sharks beginning at 8 p.m.

Second Opinion play a free show at The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, on Friday, November 15, starting at 8 p.m. We'll see if we can get Jimmy McGuire and the band to stop by the KING studio for a preview.

The Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, has an Open Mic night on Friday, November 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. in downtown Cheyenne.

Greensky Bluegrass plays at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado with Fruition on Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16, beginning at 9 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $22 in advance, $25 at the door and $30 for a 2 day pass.

Have some fun, go see a live band. You'll be helping out the performers and the venues while treating yourself to a good time.
