What do you have planned for St. Patrick's Day weekend?

There's lots of live entertainment around our area to enjoy, including several Irish themed events.

Killer Rabbit play The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 15. There's no cover charge and we're hoping to get a preview from Eric, Dave, Scott and Ron here in the KING studio.Fridays in the Hynds presents Hoover and the Vacuums from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. for $5, those 15 and under get in free with an adult at the Hynds Building, 1602 Capitol Avenue on March 15.

At Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, Jimmie Mac plays a solo acoustic show on Friday night 7 to 10 with no cover charge. (Jimmy McGuire's from Second Opinion)

A St. Patrick's Shenanigans Open Mic Night will be held at Recover Wyoming, 512 East Lincolnway, on Friday, March 15, starting at 7:30 p.m. You can bring your instrument or read some Irish limericks in a sober environment, non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

In Denver on Friday, The English Beat and The Aggrolites play at the Ogden Theatre beginning at 9 p.m. The cost is $24.

Saturday night, March 16, at the Ogden Theatre see G. Love & Special Sauce at 9.

In downtown Cheyenne on Saturday catch Second Opinion starting at 9 p.m. at The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, and around the corner at The Crown Bar, 222 West Lincolnway, Beatgrass will play at their St. Patrick's Day Celebration from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m. featuring corned beef and cabbage. Both events have no cover charge.

Bagpipe music will be setting the mood at Shadows Pub and Grill inside the historic Depot in downtown Cheyenne on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, at noon, 2 and 7 p.m.

And don't forget the parades to celebrate the wearin' o' the green.

On Saturday, it's Denver's St Patrick's Day Parade starting at 27th Street and Blake Avenue at 10 a.m. In Ft Collins from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. it's Lucky Joe's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Old Town Square beginning on Walnut Avenue. Greeley presents Blarney on the Block at their Ninth Street Plaza at 2 p.m. featuring a bagpipe and drum parade, live music and events for kids, they even have a blarney stone you can kiss.
