Are you including any live music in your Halloween celebrations?

There's a lot of musical entertainment in our area for the end of October and the beginning of November. Living Colour, led by Vernon Reid, plays tonight, October 30, at the Gothic Theatre in Denver. The opening act is Drug Under starting at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $30.Music That Goes Bump in the Night IX comes to the Cheyenne Civic Center on Thursday, October 31, with the LCCC instrumental ensembles performing Halloween-themed music beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free but donations are being accepted for the Comea House.

Second Opinion play at The Drunken Skunk's Halloween Party on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1, starting at 9 p.m. The bar at 1617 Capitol Avenue will also have a costume contest at 10 p.m. on Halloween.

Switchfoot entertains at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado on Thursday, October 31, for $20, getting underway at 7 p.m.

The Colorado band, DeVotchKa perform at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood at 8 p.m. on Halloween, October 31.

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe comes to the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on Thursday, October 31, beginning at 8 p.m. with Jessie J. Tickets are $30 at the door, which open at 7 p.m.

Another Perfect Circus returns to The Midtown Tavern on Friday, November 1, from 8 to 11 p.m. There's always no cover charge at the venue also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard.

In downtown Cheyenne, Rovetti and Meatballs play on Saturday, November 2, at the Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue. The rock, bluegrass, swing and blues band from Sonoma County perform from 7 to 9 p.m.

Foreigner will be in Greeley, Colorado on Saturday, November 2, at the Union Colony Civic Center starting at 7:30 p.m. Their tour drummer, Chris Frasier, attended school at Central High in Cheyenne.
