Are you a Led Zeppelin fan?

The KING Concert Cut for Friday, January 9, will feature Led Zeppelin's 'The Ocean' recorded at the L.A. Forum in 1972.

Guitarist Jimmy Page was born in 1944 on a January 9, so we're helping this long time member of rock's royalty celebrate with music from a triple-live album released in 2003 called 'How The West Was Won.'

Tune in about 7:50 p.m. for 'The Ocean,' originally off 'Houses of the Holy,' performed at the Forum in Los Angeles on June 25, 1972. The song's title refers to what the audience looks like from the band's perspective and is dedicated to all Led Zeppelin fans.

I wasn't a huge Zeppelin fan at first, I liked 'Houses of the Holy' and of course the band's fourth album, we even tried playing 'Stairway To Heaven' backwards on the turntable to try and hear any messages.

While living in southern California, I met a big Led Zeppelin believer, Hoang Pham, who turned me on to many of their deeper cuts that really rocked like 'Hey Hey What Can I Do' and 'Trampled Under Foot.'

Since that time, I've become a 'Zepp-Head,' if there even is such a thing, and appreciate all that music that I'd been missing.

What's your favorite Led Zeppelin song?
