What do you have planned for New Year’s Eve?

On the ‘KING FM Sunday Brunch’ we have music to prepare for ‘The End’ of 2013, concert info for New Year’s Eve entertainment, a rock birthday to celebrate and we’ll remember some of the musicians who died this past year, tune in between 7 and 10 a.m. It’s also the last ‘Brunch’ in December so we’ll spin half of a 2013 release as our ‘Album Side Sunday.’‘KING FM Sunday Brunch’ Menu for December 29, 2013

Appetizer: ‘New Year’s Day (Live)’-U2

New Year’s Eve Concert: ‘Bittersweet’-Big Head Todd & The Monsters (at the Paramount Theatre in Denver on 12-31)

Rock Birthday: ‘Tuesday Afternoon’-Moody Blues (flautist Ray Thomas turns 72)

Album Side Sunday: ’13′-Black Sabbath (side one coming up at 8 a.m.)

Music Losses 2013: ‘The End’-The Doors (keyboardist Ray Manzarek died 5-20-13 at 74)

‘I’d Love to Change The World’-Ten Years After (Alvin Lee died 3-6-13 at age 68)

‘Over and Over’-Dave Clark Five (bassist Rick Huxley passed away 2-12-13 at 72)

‘Walk On The Wild Side’-Lou Reed (he died at the age of 71 on 10-27-13)

‘After Midnight’-Eric Clapton (songwriter J.J. Cale died 7-26-13 at 74)

Dessert: ‘The Final Countdown’-Europe
