It was a packed house, and then some, at the Laramie County GOP Caucus last night at the Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne.

According to the tally, 778 registered Republicans showed up to get their precincts in order and conduct business. According to the LCGOP Chairman, Jered Olsen, someone told him he would be lucky to get a few hundred. But that record was well beat up last night.

After registration, the event was to kick off at 6 pm and precinct business didn't begin until closer to 7 pm. It was a good mood with friends, neighbors and elected officials across the county, getting together for their party.

State Chair Matt Micheli was there and spoke about how Wyoming cannot afford 4 more years of President Obama or Hillary Clinton's policies.

The county Republican convention will take place on Saturday, March 12 at the Kiwanis Community House in Lion's Park.
