Several thousand fans braved a downpour to rock with Nickelback last night at Cheyenne Frontier Days. With a little help from Jagermeister, the Canadian quartet turned a muddy night into a wet and wild party.

Rain wreaked havoc on the band's video screen, causing a short delay. The band took the stage at 10 p.m, delivering a career-spanning 18 song set. Frontman Chad Kroeger praised the crowd several times during the concert, pausing several times to salute their endurance with a shot of Jager.

"Cheyenne is (bleeping) awesome," he shouted on stage. Kroeger also recalled the band's last visit to CFD in 2002.

When the show ended shortly before midnight, the exhausted crowd headed for the gates just as another severe thunderstorm rolled into the area.
