Rick Rubin has picked up numerous awards producing a wide variety of act's records over the past two decades. He was born in Long Island, New York on March 10th, 1963.

Rubin has won a total of seven Grammy Awards, chosen as Producer of the Year in 2007 and 2009. He's been producing records since the mid-80's.

The acts he has produced range from the Beastie Boys and Run-D.M.C. to The Dixie Chicks and the Johnny Cash American Recordings. Rubin has worked with the Red Hot Chili Peppers several times including on their breakthrough album Blood Sugar Sex Magic, Californication, Stadium Arcadium and their forthcoming 2011 release.
