As we reported last night (June 17), Ozzy Osbourne‘s son Jack has revealed that he is battling multiple sclerosis. Today (June 18), on Sharon Osbourne’s TV show the ‘The Talk,’ she did not hold back the tears when asked about her son.

A teary-eyed Osbourne explained, “He’s great – he’s doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us.” Host Julie Chen called Jack “an amazing guy” and spoke of how courageous he was before yielding the floor to Sharon, who concluded, “It’s been amazing … for Jack cause I really believe that vibes of prayer help.”

Sharon herself famously battled colon cancer and defeated the disease against the odds. Her bought with the illness was documented on the family’s reality series ‘The Osbournes.

The heartbreaking news comes after a particularly joyous time for Jack Osbourne. He revealed that he learned the news of his diagnosis just two weeks after the birth of his daughter, Pearl Clementine. Jack will join his mother on ‘The Talk’ this Wednesday (June 20).
