The Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff’s Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol took part in the Cheyenne leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run  for Special Olympics Thursday morning, with a runner bearing the torch through several downtown Cheyenne streets, accompanied by a group of runners and led by vehicles from local law enforcement agencies. The run concluded with the delivery of the torch to the steps of the state Capitol building. The Wyoming Special Olympics are scheduled for May 10-12 in Laramie.
