There's a chance to find gold in South Pass City during Gold Rush Days

There's gold in them there hills. Or, at least there used to be. Explorers recently found a way into the now abandoned Union gold and silver mine to see what remains hundreds of feet under the Earth.

A gold and copper mine sits near Cheyenne out to our west adjacent to Curt Gowdy State Park and there are plans in motion for a project that could potentially produce millions of dollars in revenue as well as bring lots of jobs to the state of Wyoming. The southeast region of Wyoming is literally sitting on a gold mine.

They told us there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but I think they were not quite truthful. Here you can easily see both ends of Mother Nature's prism effect of the rain drops, but I see no gold or leprechauns. Maybe I overlooked an American Express Black Card laying in the grass, but I don't think so...
