If you don't remember the mid-sixties television series, 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.', have no fear... it's on its way to this millennium as the next blockbuster to hit the big screen.

Although I grew up watching it as a young child, I couldn't really tell you anything about the series other then it was about spies (I honestly don't even remember what U.N.C.L.E stands for). I will say, I am looking forward to the upcoming reboot. This is one of the rare cases where not really remembering the particulars from the original show will work in favor for the film. It gives the filmmakers a chance to bring a beloved, albeit nearly-forgotten franchise back to the light of day. Written and directed by one of my personal favorites, Guy Ritchie, the trailer alone is enough to make anyone want to check it out. The casting is also superb, with 'Man of Steel' star, Henry Cavill taking the lead. The supporting cast boasts 'The Lone Ranger' star, Armie Hammer and recent sci-fi hit, Ex Machina star, the beautiful Alicia Vikander.

With new sequels from similar spy-themed franchises like the James Bond-led Spectre and Tom Cruise's personal baby, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, this movie should have a niche' all its own, mainly because it takes place in the past. I will be eagerly awaiting it's release.
