Wyoming Business Council Revises CDBG Rules

The Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors voted via teleconference Friday to adopt revised rules for the community development block grant program.

The Community Development Block Grant program rules were amended and corrected to add or update rules and regulations that are required by the U.S. Department of  Housing and Urban Development, the funding source for CDBG.

In addition, standard formatting and editing changes were made. new additions to the rules include a requirement to submit applications to business council regional directors two weeks prior to application deadlines; a pre-qualification for planning and technical assistance consultants; requiring the submission of a digital copy of applications; and revised application scoring and ranking methodology.
