
California Firearms Maker Moving To Wyoming
Firearms manufacturer Weatherby, Inc. announced that they are relocating their manufacturing operations and corporate headquarters from California to Sheridan, Wyoming.
“Weatherby's move to Sheridan is expected to create 70 to 90 jobs and more than $5 million in annual payroll over the next five years.” -KGWN
Company officials made the announcement from SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the world's largest annual shooting, hunting and firearms industry trade show.

After 70+ years in California, Weatherby Inc. joins Magpul Industries in moving to Wyoming from less friendly firearms states.
Governor Matt Mead said this will help diversify Wyoming’s economy.
