Cheyenne, Laramie County Offices to Remain Closed Thursday

Due to the continued severe winter weather and unsafe road conditions, all City of Cheyenne and Laramie County offices will remain closed Thursday.

Non-essential employees are once again being asked to stay home and shelter during the severe weather.

Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency Director Jeanine West says many accidents are caused by drivers not heeding the warning of "no unnecessary travel" and she encourages everyone to stay home.

West says weather conditions will continue to be unsafe for travel and will deteriorate throughout the day and throughout Thursday.
