Police say a man shot and killed himself after shooting at his ex-girlfriend outside his home in east Cheyenne Sunday night.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police were called to the 2100 block of E. 10th Street at 7:40 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

"Officers arrived and found that Jordon Robinson, 27, of Cheyenne, had fired a handgun several times in the direction of his ex-girlfriend while outside of his residence," said Malatesta.  "(He) then entered his home where he shot himself in the head."

Malatesta says several of the rounds fired outside struck a vehicle, but nobody was injured.

The case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
