Cheyenne Police are asking for the public's help in solving a recent felony trailer theft in the city.

That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.

According to the post, there were two suspect vehicles involved in the theft, both of which appear to be black Chevy Silverados. Both were driven by male suspects.

Police say the smaller truck had only a back license plate from Colorado. while the larger had a back plate from either Wyoming or New Mexico. A hardhat was seen on the dash of the smaller pickup.

The stolen trailer is described as a 2016 flatbed Tophat trailer with Wyoming license plates 2-6867.

Police say it's possible the trailer is still being hauled by the larger pickup.

Anyone with information on the theft is being asked to contact Officer Campbell at 307-633-8099.
