Cheyenne Police Seek Suspects They Say Vandalized 39 Cars

Cheyenne police have released video of a vehicle believed to have been involved in a rash of car vandalisms this week hoping someone will be able to identify it.

Officer Kevin Malatesa says the video was taken around 11:15 p.m. last night, after vandals broke a car window in the 5700 block of Syracuse Road.

"We're hoping that somebody else has a better quality image or video of that vehicle," said Malatesta.

Malatesta says the vandals have hit at least 39 vehicles since Easter, causing "tens of thousands of dollars" worth of damage.

Police are asking anyone with information about the vandalisms to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS, and are recommending a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that identifies the vandals.
