Are you looking for a unique way to get into the holiday spirit?

The Historic Governor's Mansion in Cheyenne is 'Decking the Halls!' for the holiday season and you're invited to step back in time from November 20 through December 24.

The exhibit 'Tinsel Through Time: Dressing for the Ages' will be presented at the Historic Governor's Mansion in Cheyenne starting November 20 through Christmas Eve, December 24. Holiday and party wear from the Edwardian period of the early 1900's through the groovy 1960's is represented.

Learn about holiday traditions, historic decorations, party wear and other holiday facts by stopping by the Historic Governor's Mansion, 300 E. 21st St, for a free tour. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and an opening reception will be held on Friday, November 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. with refreshments and live entertainment.

The Historic Governor's Mansion will be all lit up and decorated throughout. They are open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays. For more information, call 777-7878.
