Thankful Thursday, Alf's Pub- Has helped raise over $1 million for Cheyenne charities
- Won a Wyoming Association of Broadcasters award in June
- Successful local business owner

Cheyenne Mayor- Announced he will not seek re-election in 2016
- Has organized many large events in Cheyenne
- Fighting potholes one at a time

Amy Surdam
Mayoral Candidate, Former President of the Cheyenne Children's Museum- Ran for Cheyenne mayor in 2016, won the primary along with Marian Orr.
- Stepped down as President of the Children's Museum Board in September.
- Received many endorsements for Cheyenne mayor, however eventually lost to Orr.

- Recorded first MLB hit in June

Cheyenne City Council- Created his own Facebook group called "Richard Johnson, You Have Failed This City"
- Led the effort to legalize skateboarding in downtown Cheyenne
- Collecting shoes for the local homeless population

U.S. Representative- Named to President-Elect Donald Trump's transition team in December
- Announced she is not seeking re-election to Congress this year
- Said she is considering a run for governor in 2018

University of Wyoming Wrestler, Former Cheyenne Central Wrestler- Made it to the NCAA Championship match in the 141-pound bracket. Lost 3-2 to Oklahoma State's Dean Heil.
- Attended the NCAA Tournament at Madison Square Garden with three other Wyoming wrestlers
- Preparing to return for his junior season at UW

Cheyenne Mayor-Elect- Elected as Cheyenne's first female mayor
- Created a large social media buzz with her Cheyenne videos and "Door to Door with Orr" campaign.
- Named her mayoral transition team and has laid out a plan for Cheyenne's future.
