Chicago Woman Buys Target Christmas Tree, Gets This Instead [PHOTOS]
Target, we still love you, but you probably should start looking at things a little closer.
Like most of us this time of year, Sara is thinking Christmas.
What's the best way to get in the Christmas spirit? Decorating, duh.
Sara needed a new tree, so she went to the Target in Chicago to buy one. She picked out a seven-and-a-half-foot pre-lit tree, because we all know putting lights on a tree is a pain.
The obvious next step was to open the box. When she did, well, let's just say she didn't find a tree.
Nope, no tree at all. Instead, she found phone books, old clothes and a sandbag. Yeah, a sandbag! Who has a sandbag?
Well, Sara does for the time being. Not quite sure she wants to put an angel on top of that sandbag while she waits for Santa.
Here's the best part. Sara contacted Target and here's the response she got.
We're thinking this isn't a case of a returned box, but more of some behind the scenes shenanigans. At the very least, Sara has the best tree story ever.
