Contract Employee Dies at Liquor Division Warehouse

The man who died Wednesday while working at the Wyoming Liquor Division Warehouse has been identified as 57 year old Laramie resident Steven John Mullen. Laramie County Coroner Marty Luna says he died from “multiple blunt and traumatic and sharp injuries due to him falling into an industrial type fan that was on a cooling unit that he was working on.”

Luna says  his office will continue to investigate the incident along with the Cheyenne Police Department and Osha. Luna says the toxicology report should be back in 6-8 weeks. He says that is standard in any type of industrial death.

Governor Matt Mead says he is deeply saddened to hear this news and his family’s thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family.
