For decades, the Wednesday during CFD has been an unofficial holiday in the Capital City. For many, Cheyenne Day is one of the best days of the year. For some of us, however, it's just another day at work.

Many businesses will give their employees time off to watch the USAF Thunderbirds, a Cheyenne Day tradition since 1953. Some companies take the entire day to celebrate.
